Company History

Thompsons have their roots in a cycle and motorcycle business first established in the old East Riding of Yorkshire back in 1910. Originally Thompsons of Beverley, the company was reincorporated as Thompson Commercials in 1996 following a move to purpose built premises in Hull. The modern day Thompson Commercials Limited is the result of a management buy-out in 2000. Annual winners of many sales and service awards within the Renault network, we have even picked up the prestigious 'Motor Transport Dealer of the Year' award in 2001.
