Driffield Show 2023

On Wednesday 19th of July, Thompsons attended the Driffield Show and had a fantastic trade stand. Thompsons invited existing customers to join them on the day to show their appreciation for their business. Visitors at the Driffield show had the opportunity to visit the stand to talk to industry experts, browse the product range, and most of all, enjoy themselves.

On display at the stand were a Renault T Range, Renault C Range, Renault Master, Renault Trafic, Renault E-Tech D Range Skip Loader, Renault E-Tech Master Caged Tipper, Isuzu N75, Isuzu N35, Used Renault Truck and a vehicle painted by Thompson Refinishers. Staff were on hand to answer any questions about the vehicles on show.

Throughout the day, Thompsons had some excellent entertainment which helped them stand out from the crowd. Daniel Burridge had his hands on the DJ decks while Elara Sax improvised with her superb saxophone. They were a big part of the day, and without them, it wouldn't have been the same.

While people visited the stand, they had the chance to indulge in some delicious local food which included hot dogs, burgers, a hog roast, and more. The hospitality unit was available to all that wanted to have a chill, enjoy beverages, and take cover from the rain.

As part of the day, Thompsons held a raffle in order to raise money for charities Mysterious Minds and Andy’s Man Club. After entering, people had the chance to win a day experience for one or two which included activities such as a supercar drive, bungee jump, and many more. Renata Newby, who is a support worker at Mind Charity, won the raffle and had the choice of over 525 adventures to pick from. As a result, Thompsons raised a total of £215 for both of the charities.

Despite the miserable weather, Thompsons were thrilled to see everyone enjoy themselves at the stand. Thank you to all that came.
